Since 2002, Paul Tree Farms has been growing, delivering, and installing some of the largest trees in Illinois. What began as a passion for trees has grown into one of the state’s premier tree farms, proudly serving homeowners, landscapers, municipalities, and property developers throughout Illinois.
With more than 40,000 trees on our farm, we offer a selection and scale that simply can’t be found at a typical garden center or nursery. From mature shade trees to flowering ornamentals and large privacy evergreens, our inventory gives customers the opportunity to choose from thousands of beautiful, established trees in person. Whether you’re searching for a statement tree to transform your front yard, a canopy tree to provide shade for your outdoor living space, or a natural privacy screen for your property, our team is here to help you find the perfect fit.

At Paul Tree Farms, guided tours through the farm are part of the experience. Customers can personally explore thousands of mature trees and work directly with our team to select the exact trees that best fit their property, goals, and landscape vision.
Owner Danny Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in Horticulture and Business Management from Illinois State University and oversees everything involving the growing, digging, handling, and installation of trees. His wife, Sherri Paul, holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and manages the business operations, scheduling, customer communication, marketing, and office side of the company.

Our tree selection spans three main categories to suit virtually any landscaping need. Flowering trees bring seasonal beauty, vibrant color, and visual interest to any yard or garden. Visit the Farm
One of the most unique and memorable parts of the Paul Tree Farms experience is our Tree Tour. Unlike picking a tree from a catalog or a small lot, our tours give you the opportunity to walk our expansive grounds, explore thousands of trees up close, and truly appreciate the size, shape, structure, and character of each variety before making your decision. There’s no substitute for seeing a mature tree in person — and our knowledgeable staff will be right there alongside you to answer questions, share their expertise, and help you find exactly what you’re looking for.
We are open seasonally, with extended hours during the busy spring planting season. From March through May, we welcome visitors Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9am to 5pm. From June through November, our hours shift slightly — we’re open Friday and Sunday from 9am to 5pm, and Saturday from 9am to 3pm. If you’d prefer to visit during the week, we’re always happy to accommodate weekday appointments. All of our services are available on-site, and we accept cash and check for payment.
